I found the hotel functional, the room was a generous size, the bed was reasonably comfortable, the shower was temperamental (very low pressure), but eventually served its purpose, and there were no noise issues.

The receptionist was grumpy, uncommunicative, and generally unhelpful. As the public face of the hotel, it is his job to "sell" the hotel to guests, so that they might recommend it to others. He failed in every regard.

neat and clean, if you are looking at a hotel near central london only for spending a night there, this is the best one, very co-operative staff as well. the toilets were clean and you certainly did get hot water running from the taps when required

Yes, they could have allowed some external air to circulate in the room

I had read too many bad reviews of many London hotels and decided to just go for one. This hotel turned out to be really good value for money, lovely area, decent room and friendly staff. However, if you are sensitive to noise be aware that you can hear the underground trains. But for us it was no problem at all.

Not a lot of space at breakfafst and a very basic breakfast but not bad for the value.

The location was excellent. The price was very seasonable. For what we paid, the rooms were very clean and comfotable.

The staff, both at the check in desk and the breakfast area were pretty rude and seemed more concerned with finishing their shifts than helping customers.

This Hotel should be taken off the Booked.net listing as it gives you a bad reputation Compared to all the other Hotels we stayed in this place is the pits The room was so small you had to go outside to change your mind There is a metro tube running directly beneath the Hotel and every 5 minutes there is a rumbling sound like bad weather and the whole room shakes - not very good for sleeping One of the other customers was trying in vain to change a dirty pillow that had no pillow casing and he was just shrugged off The breakfast is very poor - cereal and toast only When booking out we came down the stairs to find a lady sleeping on the stair landing - she had made an internet booking, but arrived to find the Hotel was full. She had to use the staff washing rooms which were rat infested

Location and Price. Nothing else good to say about his hotel.

They tried to cancel our reservation in favour of higher paying customers. Thank goodness Booked.net intervened. The Tube was directly beneath the hotel and was loud and shaky.

Tv did not work, curtains broken, stains on the floor/bedding, train came every 6 minutes. Expensive. Hair dryer did not work.

The bed is dirty. I feel itchy when I slept so I didn't use the duvet and replace with my own towel instead. Marks is on the pillow and I think no one would like to sleep on that.My room is not look like what I saw in Booked.net

        Position

A double room? The end of the bed was 280mm from the wall! A danger and not a double room.

Location is ok, in a nice neighbourhood, though be careful with the address: it is 16 Pembridge square, not 16 Pembridge Villas, even though some websites wrongly state that address (which is nearby but no hotel there!). - Breakfast was ok but not great (no fruit or yoghurt at all! - you get toast, marmelade, hot drink, 3 kinds of cereal, and orange juice).

Avoid this hotel if you can. Any youth hostel would be better and cheaper at the same time. We had booked two rooms, but one of them - even supposedly "non smoking" room - absoluvely stank of smoke, and staff insisted they were "non smoking rooms" (yeah, with an ash tray on the table). The room we got instead (on the 3rd floor) was also a smoking room. Our room (room 26) looked out onto a wall that was parallel to our window, only about 40cm away, so there's basically no light at all. There's not even tv to distract you: only 4 or 5 local channels were working in our room. Neither shampoo nor anything else is provided (just a little soap), the bathroom was absolutely scruffy; the rooms are sad, gray and shabby. I really mean it when I say, don't go there.

The bed was comfortable , that's all

Where do I start !!!! Finding parkin at the blue bells hotel was like finding a needle in a hay stack , as we went to get change we recieved a parking ticket !! The hotel itself was like being involved in a earthquake due to the tube being located right beneath the hotel !! Breakfast was shocking went down looking forward to a breakfast and recieved .... Just toast , if I was to score this hotel / b&b it would be 3/10 shocking , we put a complaint to the recepionist and was totally blanked I would never reccomend this hotel to anyone !! Bad times !!!!!!!
